Little Haven
A beautiful sandy beach awaits just a 10-minute walk from our Little Haven Cottages, if you walk up to the point, you'll find an inlet on the left known as the ‘Sheep Wash.’ It’s a great spot where we often take shelter for a makeshift barbecue. At half tide, you can walk around the headland to reach the expansive sandy bay called The Settlands. At low tide, it’s possible to walk all the way to Broad Haven along the beach, but be mindful of the tide.

Broad Haven

At high tide, this beach is a long, narrow stretch of sand and pebbles, but when the tide goes out, it reveals a vast area of firm sand with plenty of space for everyone. Just a 10-minute walk from our cottages, it’s popular during the summer due to its safe bathing conditions. You’ll often see people windsurfing, surfing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and more, making it a hub of activity for water sports enthusiasts.

Druidston Haven

Druidston is a hidden gem, featuring a long sandy beach surrounded on three sides by steep cliffs. To the north of the main beach, you’ll find impressive cliff formations, including natural arches and caves. However, be cautious of the incoming tide, as it can cut you off from the shore. You can access the beach via the coastal path or two footpaths that connect with the lane running from Nolton Haven to Broad Haven.

This beach is a must-visit for avid surfers, with people camping out in all weather just to catch some waves. For those who don’t surf, it’s also a stunning beach that stretches for miles when the tide is low. Cafés are located at both ends of the beach, along with a pub. At the far end, Newsurf (01437 721 398) www.newsurf.co.uk offers surf lessons, kayak tours, equipment rentals, and coasteering adventures.

Whitesands
Nestled beneath the dramatic craggy hill of Carn Llidi, this expansive stretch of fine white sand gracefully curves northward toward the remote, rocky St Davids Head. Renowned as one of the country’s top surfing beaches, it attracts many visitors. The surf break is located at the northern end, where, on busy days, surfers, canoeists, and bodyboarders vie for the best waves. Here, you’ll also find a rocky promontory to explore. In contrast, the quieter southern end features beautifully sheltered bays.
